OUR STORY

We’re Ashley and Kendra — two single moms, community volunteers, and friends who share a birthday and a passion for helping girls grow up confident and connected.

Our paths crossed a few times over the years, but we reconnected while volunteering on our local youth baseball board. After working together to launch the girls’ fastpitch program — and even navigating a little misunderstanding along the way — we realized we shared a vision: what if girls didn’t have to wait until adulthood to believe in themselves?

That idea stuck with us. A year later, we decided to make it real.

That’s how EmpowerHER Club, INC was born — a space where girls build confidence, leadership skills, emotional awareness, and a strong sense of community. Through mentoring, workshops, affirmations, and service projects, we help girls discover they’re not just capable — they’re powerful.
Not because they’re girls, but because they’re smart, motivated, and full of potential.
We’re here to lift each girl and teach them to lift each other — so they grow up knowing their worth and ready to lead.
Kendra Mance: Founder
Hey there — I’m Kendra. I’m a proud single mom to an amazing daughter, a community builder at heart, a businesswoman with a career rooted in leadership, and the founder of EmpowerHER Club, INC. My passion? Helping girls discover confidence, purpose, and self-worth early in life — not because they’re girls, but because they’re brilliant, bold, and totally built for greatness.

I started volunteering when my daughter was little, and I fell in love with it. Watching her light up with excitement made me realize how powerful community engagement can be — not just for kids, but for parents too. That experience sparked something in me and encouraged my desire to uplift others, especially young girls.
Growing up, I had moments where I felt shy or unsure if my voice mattered. Over time — through resilience, hard work, and learning to speak up — I found it. Now, I want every girl to know that her voice matters too.
My leadership journey wasn’t handed to me. I built it from the ground up — leading teams, driving impact, and creating space for others to thrive. Along the way, I built a strong foundation for my family and discovered a passion for lifting others as I climb.
That passion led me to volunteer on our local youth baseball board, where I helped launch the girls’ fastpitch program. Watching girls arrive uncertain and leave believing in themselves was transformative. It reminded me: girls shouldn’t have to wait until adulthood to know they’re powerful and capable. They should grow up knowing it.
That belief became the heartbeat of EmpowerHER Club, INC.
Through mentorship, mindset-building, leadership opportunities, and service-based learning, I’m committed to giving girls the confidence foundation I wish I had earlier — and showing them how to lift each other up along the way. My mission is simple: help girls find their voices while they’re young, so they can step into the world already believing in themselves — and in one another.
EmpowerHER Club, INC isn’t just a program. It’s a movement — raising a generation of girls who lead with confidence, kindness, and courage, and carry that strength into every chapter of their lives.
Ashley Williams: Co-Founder
Hi! I’m Ashley — a single mother of two. I have a strong and amazing boy, and a spirited young daughter who inspires me every single day. Watching my daughter grow up in today’s world has opened my eyes to the challenges young girls face in accepting themselves. From constant comparison to unrealistic images and social pressures, it’s become even harder for girls to see their true worth — and that’s something I’m determined to change.
My own journey to confidence began when I discovered boxing. What started as a workout quickly became a passion that helped me find strength, discipline, and self-belief. I learned that confidence isn’t about perfection — it’s about power, resilience, and learning to love yourself through every challenge.
That experience led me to start cardio drumming classes designed to uplift and empower women. Through movement, music, and community, I’ve seen firsthand how confidence grows when women support and celebrate one another.
As a businesswoman and a believer in leading by example, I’ve made it my mission to help girls build their confidence early — to find their voices before the world tries to quiet them. I want young girls to know their value, to lift each other up, and to create lasting friendships built on kindness and strength, not comparison or competition.
EmpowerHER was born from that dream — to help the next generation of girls grow into strong, confident, and compassionate leaders who know they are enough, exactly as they are
